Eliminate the hassle of fabricating a rear crossmember, and position your engine and transmission where you want them, with universal transmission mounts. They'll support most standard and automatic transmissions with open channel frames and widths of 26 in. to 36 in. between the frame rails. With 0.114 in. wall thickness, they're available with no drop, 3 in., and 6 in. drops, either as kits with braces and mounting pads or as the crossmember alone. They can be used with either a #9442 GM transmission mount or a #4716 Ford transmission mount.
